Has anyone used Ubuntu 10.04 with Samba and linked it into a an MS Windows Active Directory Domain so that shared folders have the correct user access permissions as setup in Active Directory.
I know Samba works at NT4 level and I believe it needs OpenLDAP and I think Kerberus authentication.
Does anyone know how to as several forums seem to indicate different ways of doing things.
I need a way of syncing Linux Permissions with Windows and authenticating users so that they can not access anything they should not.
